Devils Look For a Win Streak With 10 Games Remaining In December

The New Jersey Devils can’t seem to put any sort of streak together whether it’s a winning one or losing one, as they’ve alternated wins and losses since November 27th. After losing to the Montreal Canadiens, the Devils won the second game of a home-and-home, lost to the Colorado Avalanche, beat the Carolina Hurricanes, lost to the Philadelphia Flyers, beat the Florida Panthers, then lost to the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Obviously it’s better than losing consecutive games in a row, but the Devils are going to have to string together wins at some point to make a move from their current fifth place spot in the Metropolitan division in the Eastern Conference. The Devils have 32 points, tied with the Pittsburgh Penguins who have played one less game, and are eight points off the division leading Washington Capitals.
