Devils Acquire D’Agostini From St. Louis

The New Jersey Devils have acquired 26 year old Matt D'Agostini from the St. Louis Blues. In the trade, the Devils have also acquired a conditional 7th round pick; St. Louis will either receive a 4th or 5th round pick depending on whether or not D'Agostini chooses to resign with New Jersey or not. If he signs, it's a 4th round pick. If not, it's a 5th round pick.

In 16 games this season, Matt D'Agostini has 2 points (1g, 1a) for the St. Louis Blues.

With the trade for D'Agostini, the Devils have added some much needed depth to the winger position with D'Agostini being a solid 3rd/4th liner. When Zubrus and Ponikarovsky come back healthy the Devils are going to have a very deep group of wingers.
